Questionnaire on psychological processes in informed decision-making – DigiMed1 study

This document contains the results of the Relative Weight Analysis (RWA) conducted in the context of the DigiMed1 study, the first empirical study within the dissertation project on informed decision-making in medical contexts. The analysis was performed to determine the relative importance of predictor variables in explaining variance in key outcome measures of the DigiMed1 study.

This collection contains the complete raw data and accompanying documentation for study DigiMed1 on informed deicision-making in medical context. The dataset was collected via SoSciSurvey and includes anonymized responses of all participants. The collection also provides detailed documentation: a variable overview (with item wording and scale assignment) and a coding scheme (with response options, and value labels).

This document contains the results of the correlation analysis conducted in the context of the DigiMed1-study, the first empirical study within the dissertation project on informed decision-making in medical contexts. The analysis was performed to examine the relationships between key process and outcome variables assessed in the DigiMed1-study.

This document contains the results of the factor analyses conducted in the context of the DigiMed1 study, the first empirical study within the dissertation project on informed decision-making in medical contexts. The analyses were performed using principal axis factoring with promax rotation to examine the underlying structure of the questionnaire.

This document contains the confusion matrices of machine learning classification conducted in the context of the DigiMed1 study. In the qualitative part of the study, a coding scheme was first developed based on human ratings of open-ended responses. This coding scheme was then validated using automated classification methods (Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest). The confusion matrices presented here provide an overview of the classification performance.
