Abstract / Description

Der S8-I ist eine von vier Ultrakurzversionen des Situational Eight DIAMONDS (S8*; Rauthmann & Sherman, 2016a) und dient der Erfassung situationaler Eigenschaften. Er kommt als Forschungsinstrument bei der Experience-Sampling-Methode und bei experimentellen Studien zum Einsatz. Der S8-I besteht aus acht Skalen mit je einem Item: (1) Duty, (2) Intellect, (3) Adversity, (4) Mating, (5) pOsitivity, (6) Negativity, (7) Deception und (8) Sociality. Die Anfangsbuchstaben der Skalenbezeichnungen ergeben die sogenannten Situational Eight DIAMONDS. Reliabilität: Es fehlen Angaben zur Reliabilität. Validität: Die Konstruktvalidität wurde untersucht. Dabei wurden alle Kurzvarianten (S8-II, S8-III-A, S8-III-P) sowie der S8* untereinander korreliert. Die höchsten Korrelationen ergaben sich erwartungsgemäß mit der korrespondierenden Skala.
The S8-I is one of four ultrashort versions of the Situational Eight DIAMOND (S8*; Rauthmann & Sherman, 2016) and is used to measure situational characteristics. It is used as a research instrument in the experience sampling method and in experimental studies. The S8-I consists of eight scales, each with one item: (1) Duty, (2) Intellect, (3) Adversity, (4) Mating, (5) pOsitivity, (6) Negativity, (7) Deception and (8) Sociality. The initial letters of the scale designations result in the so-called Situational Eight DIAMONDS. Reliability: Information on reliability is missing. Validity: The construct validity was examined. All short variants (S8-II, S8-III-A, S8-III-P) and the S8* were correlated with each other. As expected, the highest correlations were found with the corresponding scale.
