Abstract / Description

Das Verfahren wurde für den Einsatz bei Erwachsenen ab 18 Jahren konstruiert, es gibt jedoch auch Versionen für Kinder (ab 6;0) und Jugendliche (ab 13;0). Es werden drei Dispositionen mit je 15 Items erfasst, die in Zusammenhang mit dem Lachen, Auslachen und Ausgelachtwerden stehen: Angst vor dem Ausgelachtwerden (Gelotophobie), die Freude daran, ausgelacht zu werden (Gelotophilie) und die Freude daran, andere auszulachen (Katagelastizismus). Die Entwicklung des Verfahrens stützt sich auf die Definition von Gelotophilie und Katagelastizismus von Ruch und Proyer (2009) und deren Untersuchungen zur Gelotophobie. Reliabilität: Es liegen mittlere Trennschärfen von rit = .58, rit = .52 und rit = .46 für Gelotophobie, Gelotophilie und Katagelastizismus und interne Konsistenzen zwischen Cronbachs Alpha = .84 und Alpha = .88 vor. Test-Retestkorrelationen (3 und 6 Monate) liegen zwischen rtt = .73 und rtt = .86. Validität: Eine Faktorenanalyse der Items und die Interkorrelation der Skalen unterstützen die Konstruktvalidität. Es liegen zahlreiche weitere Befunde zur Validität vor. Normen: Es existieren Vergleichsstichproben sowie empirisch abgeleitete Cut-off-Werte für die Gelotophobie-Skala.
The measure has been designed for use with adults aged 18 and over, but there are also versions for children (from 6;0) and adolescents (from 13;0). Three dispositions with 15 items each are assessed, which are related to laughing, laughing at somebody and being laughed at: Fear of being laughed at (gelotophobia), the joy of being laughed at (gelatophilia) and the joy of laughing at others (cataract elasticity). The development of the method is based on the definition of gelotophilia and catagelasticism by Ruch and Proyer (2009) and their research on gelotophobia. Reliability: There are mean selectivities of rit = .58, rit = .52 and rit = .46 for gelatophobia, geotophilia and catagelasticism and internal consistencies between Cronbach's alpha = .84 and alpha = .88. Test-retest correlations (3 and 6 months) are between rtt = .73 and rtt = .86. Validity: A factor analysis of the items and the intercorrelation of the scales support the construct validity. There are numerous other findings on validity. Norms : There are comparative samples as well as empirically derived cut-off values for the gelotophobia scale.
