Zur Verhaltenstherapeutischen Verwendung von gelenkter katathymer Imagination und Behaviourdrama in einem Lebenshilfezentrum

Der Beitrag stellt die integrativ-therapeutische Arbeit in einem Lebenshilfezentrum und einem Telefonnotruf da, wie sie von H.G. Petzold entwickelt wurde, in dem von J. Osterhues begründeten Lebenshilfezentren in München und Düsseldorf, die innovativ Telefonseelsorge und direkte Lebenshilfe (Psycho- und Soziotherapie) verbunden haben. Methodisch wird ein multimethodischer und multimodaler Ansatz (Methodenkombination) praktiziert, der erlebnisaktivierende und behaviorale Elemente (verhaltenstherapeutisches Rollenspiel/Behaviourdrama) und „komplexe katathyme Imagination“ verwendet. Es ist ein frühes Beispiel für die „kognitive Wende“ in der Verhaltenstherapie und für die Methodenintegration. Es werden komplexe Vorstellungen/Repräsentationen (covert behavior), gelenkte innere Bilder, aber auch akustische, taktile, olfaktorische etc. Vorstellungen/Repräsentationen (deshalb „komplex“) zur Beeinflussung von Verhalten eingesetzt. Der Text ist ein Beispiel für das behaviorale Element in der frühen Integrativen Therapie.

The article presents the integrative-therapeutic work in a life support center and a telephone emergency call, as developed by H. Petzold in the life support centers founded by J. Osterhues in Munich and Düsseldorf, which innovatively combine telephone counseling and direct life support (psychotherapy and sociotherapy). Methodologically, a multi-method and multi-modal approach (combination of methods) is practiced, which uses experience-activating and behavioral elements (behaviour-therapeutic role play/behaviour drama) and „complex katathymic imagination“. It is an early example of the „cognitive turn“ in behavioral therapy and of “method integration”. Complex mental representations (covert behavior), controlled inner images, but also acoustic, tactile, olfactory, etc. representations (hence “complex”) are used to influence behavior. The text is an example of the behavioral element in early Integrative Therapy.
