Abstract / Description

Der BFAS-G ist die deutsche Übersetzung der von DeYoung und Kollegen (2007) entwickelten Big Five Aspect Scale. Der adaptierte BFAS-G stellt ein Selbsteinschätzungsinventar mit 100 Items zur Erfassung der Big Five sowie zehn darunterliegender Aspekte dar (Aspekte in Klammern): (1) Extraversion (Durchsetzungsvermögen & Enthusiasmus), (2) Neurotizismus (Volatilität & Rückzug), (3) Verträglichkeit (Mitgefühl & Höflichkeit), (4) Gewissenhaftigkeit (Ordentlichkeit & Fleiß), (5) Intellekt/Offenheit (Intellekt & Offenheit). Reliabilität: Cronbachs Alpha liegt bei .71 bis .91. Validität: Die konvergente Validität mit dem NEO-FFI liegt zwischen r = .66 und r = .85, im Mittel bei r = .78. Normen: Referenzwerte (M und SD) wurden an einer Stichprobe von N = 662 ermittelt (81% weiblich; Alter: M = 23, SD = 5.1; Range: 18-69 Jahre; nicht-repräsentativ).
The BFAS-G is the German translation of the Big Five Aspect Scale developed by DeYoung and colleagues (2007). The adapted BFAS-G is a self-assessment inventory with 100 items to measure the Big Five and ten underlying aspects (aspects in brackets): (1) Extraversion (assertiveness & enthusiasm), (2) Neuroticism (volatility & retreat), (3) Compatibility (compassion & politeness), (4) Conscientiousness (orderliness & diligence), (5) Intellect/Openess (intellect & openness). Reliability: Cronbach's alpha is between .71 and .91. Validity: The convergent validity with the NEO-FFI is between r = .66 and r = .85, on average r = .78. Standards: Reference values (M and SD) were determined on a sample of N = 662 (81% female; age: M = 23, SD = 5.1; range: 18-69 years; non-representative).
