Abstract / Description

Die kurze "Checkliste zur Erfassung neuropsychiatrischer Störungen bei Parkinsonerkrankung" (CENS-PE) dient der Erfassung neuropsychiatrischer Symptome bei Patienten mit der Parkinsonerkrankung. Sie umfasst 12 Items, welche den Störungsbildern Psychotische Symptome, Stimmung/Apathie und Störung der Impulskontrolle zugeteilt sind. Reliabilität: Die interne Konsistenz der CENS-PE liegt für alle Subskalen im unteren Bereich (Cronbachs Alpha = .35-.70). Validität: Die Konstruktvalidität wurde berechnet (konfirmatorische und exploratische Faktorenanalysen, mittlere Iteminterkorrelationen). Für den Nachweis der konvergenten Validität wurden die Items der Skala Stimmung/Apathie mit ähnlichen Messverfahren korreliert (r > .30). Eine varianzanalytische Prüfung mit drei Stichproben (1) ohne kognitive Einschränkungen, (2) mit Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) und (3) mit Demenz ergab, dass der Summenwert der CENS-PE signifikant zwischen den drei Gruppen unterscheidet. Patienten mit einer Demenz weisen einen signifikant höheren Summenwert in der CENS-PE auf als Patienten ohne kognitive Defizite. Da nur sieben Patienten zum Zeitpunkt der Untersuchung die Diagnosekriterien für eine Parkinson-Demenz erfüllten, ist die Generalisierbarkeit dieses Ergebnisses limitiert.
The short "Checklist for the detection of neuropsychiatric disorders in Parkinson's disease" (CENS-PE) is designed to measure neuropsychiatric symptoms in patients with Parkinson's disease. It consists of 12 items, which are assigned to the clinical pictures of psychotic symptoms, mood/apathy and disturbance of impulse control. Reliability: The internal consistency of the CENS-PE for all subscales is in the lower range (Cronbach's alpha = .35-.70). Validity: The construct validity was calculated (confirmatory and exploratory factor analyses, mean item intercorrelations). To prove the convergent validity, the items of the scale tuning/apathy were correlated with similar measurement methods (r > .30). A variance analytical test with three samples (1) without cognitive restrictions, (2) with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and (3) with dementia showed that the sum value of the CENS-PE distinguishes significantly between the three groups. Patients with dementia have a significantly higher sum value in CENS-PE than patients without cognitive deficits. Since only seven patients fulfilled the diagnostic criteria for Parkinson's dementia at the time of the study, the generalizability of this result is limited.
