Abstract / Description
This code file contains the script to run in R for a meta-analysis on differences in the emotional experience after standardized emotion induction procedures of people with schizophrenia or at risk for psychosis and mentally healthy people. This meta-analysis included studies (k=111) comparing people with schizophrenia to mentally healthy people or people at risk for psychosis with people not at risk for psychosis on a measure of emotional experience (positive emotion [unipolar measure], negative emotion [unipolar measure], and/or valence [bipolar measure]) after a standardized, laboratory-based emotion induction using pleasant, neutral, and/or unpleasant stimuli.
The R code includes script for 27 different meta-analyses (111... - 333...) with different combinations of studies of the overall study pool. Please refer to the "Read me" section in the code for a breakdown of the rationale behind the file numbering and the content of the respective meta-analysis. The code also includes script for forest and funnel plot creation.
The analyses and figures of the referring research article can be reproduced with this code using the open data also published on psycharchives.org (see related objects).
