Es wird der gegenwärtige Stand mit seinen aktuellen Problemen zum Thema Psychotherapie im Krankenhaus aufgeworfen. Diskutiert werden die Herausforderungen dieses Tätigkeitsfeldes anhand der Fragen der Zielperspektive, der Diagnostik und Indikationsstellung, der multidisziplinären Kooperation und der Aufteilung von Tätigkeitsbereichen, der Übertragung und Gegenübertragung sowie der Notwendigkeit, erkrankungs- und behandlungsspezifische Interventionen zu entwickeln.Schlüsselwörter: Psychotherapie im Krankenhaus, Psychosomatik, Konsiliar-, Liaisonpsychotherapie, Psychotherapie körperlicher Erkrankungen, multidisziplinäre Kooperation. 

The article discusses the present status with respect to the topic psychotherapy in hospitals and concomitant problems.
