Abstract / Description
Resilience as a concept of growing interest, especially in the context of ageing; No consistent definition yet which is necessary to research the topic properly need for a summarization and synthesis of existing conceptualizations/definitions to approximate a consistent approach; therefore quantitative studies in German and English, conducted between 2012 and 2023 that examine psychological resilience in the age group 55+ are collected and analysed to understand what kind of different approaches exist to define and examine resilience and adversity in late adulthood and what is missing to clarify the construct of resilience in the context of old age
